panel 2 idea.

nearly finished my 2nd panel, I might rearrange some of the photos on my board so that I can fit a bit more photos on that I really want on the panel. I also really like the lighting on this photograph, I really like the red lighting at the top of the photo and then towards the bottom of the photograph there is more greener lighting. I also like how the lighting in this photo looks interesting and also makes the pieces of the cut up paper vibrant and colorful. I might do something like this to end of my panel 2 instead of just doing the lighting just one color , but having 2 lighting color.

Relate to Fiona Pardington

I really like this photo I have taken. It associates with Fiona Pardington . I like how the orange pieces of paper stand out strongly against the green lighting and also the light cloth in the background. My teacher also had pointed out to me the fabric of the fake flower looks nice against the lighting. And instead giving us a nice smooth appearance it gives us more of a rigid and rough appearance to it. My teacher also said that I should take closeup photos of the fabric against the light to make it clearer to the viewer. I must say I thought these photos were going to be a fail lol but they actually turned out pretty good once I started putting together my 2nd panel. :)

BRIGHT LIGHTS!

I have attempted to try to use the drama lighting to give me a more vibrant effect on my photos. Using the drama lighting to give me more brighter and different colored lighting. I really like these photos but I have to try to position the objects to make them look interesting and better. This is my first attempt at trying out Fiona Pordigtons work.

Next Panel Idea

On my next Panel. Panel 2 I will be looking at Fiona Pardington. On my first panel I have one photo which is taken in the drama room which is similar to the vibrant colors that Fiona also uses within her work. I was thinking of expanding more of these ideas onto my next panel. Thanks to Mrs Clemence my photography teacher she showed me this artiest model.

FEELING GOOD FIRST PANDEL COMPLETE!

I am soooo happy with my first panel! I have finally completed it. All my photographs leading up to the last 3 photos which is David Hockney piece. What I could work on better next time is timing and been more organised with my photos and how I would lay it out. But I am very happy with my panel. It feels good and now I just have to work on my next panel.......................

David Hockney Flower

This is one of my images where I have interpreted David Hockney work into mine. I really like the way that David Hockney is clearly presented within my photograph. I made it so that the red on the flower has been highly saturated and bright. Which my teacher Mrs Clemence  had recommended I should do. And for that I am happy to say that it really did turn out great. Instead of taking bits of pieces from different photos to create a better David Hockney piece I just used one photo and cropped pieces out of that photo to create this new image. It would of been better to see the different angels of the flower by using different photos and different angels but I'll know for next time I want to use David Hockney within my photography work.

David Hockney box

I have made this piece into a David Hockney piece. I have exaggerated the colorful bit instead and gave less color towards the outside of the box and the background.

contact sheet

Here are some of my photos which I have taken that make my box look more interesting and combining the flower and rose aswell. I have also put a different colored background for the flower. I have also tried to do some David Hockney shots. But need more practising.

interesting box

This is another of many photos I have done that could make my box look more interesting.

My photography teacher said that it would be more interesting if I were to have something coming out of the box. I wasn't really sure what to put in it, so I just came up with a simple idea of putting little bits of scrap colored paper coming out of the box. It really looks more interesting and i'm going to continue using this method.

This shot has been taken so that the camera has been placed up high looking down. Also known as a high position.

Angles.

These are some of my photos that I have taken which shows some of the different angles I was captured them in.

In this photo I have positioned the camera so that it is facing upwards. I have angled the camera so that the photo looks greater and a bit more larger with in the image. On the right I also have the camera positioned at a low angle so that the objects within the photo can be seen a different way.

David Hockney

My teacher has given me an idea of working with David Hockney. I really like his work and wouldn't mind working with it. I really like the way he takes a whole photo and breaks it down by cropping and pasting the different pieces together to make the same photo but different look or appearance. I am going to use this in my work, by hopefully pulling off the David Hockney style with my flower, box and photo. Hopefully it turns out a bit like this but looking a bit more complicated and distort.

Cropping time/Rule Of Thirds

I thought that this photo was going to be bad, I didn't really like how there was heaps of room on the left of the photo. But by cropping it and making it seem more nicer and better it actually turned out a good photo. In this photo we also have the Rule Of thirds presented within the photo. The flower and the photograph is a great example of the rule of thirds. I found that the flower and photograph is the main center of interest. If we were to rule the page up we would see that the O's of the grid would land on both the flower and also the photograph. This photo would be a great image to use the Rule of Thirds on.

Green Box

I really like the contrast of this photo. To me it looks well photoshopped and not really overdone like some of my other photos on this blog. The darker contrast of the present is the centre attention in which my eyes are drawn towards. I would say that many eyes would be drawn towards the dark shade of the box. Some viewers eyes could also be drawn towards the shadow of the box. The white background of the image somehow leads the viewers eyes towards the box and the darker contrast of the image. To wrap it up the present on this image is the dominant point of view.

EYE LEVEL.

This photo was taken in the drama room which is why the lighting is so dramatic and vibrant. This image has been made so that we are looking at eye level of the object. I placed the camera on the ground and taken the shot so that the image doesn't look shaky or blurry.

Roses Are Red.

This photo is a perfect example of blurred focus. It really brings out the parts of the flower which is blurry and in focus. I also like the shadows that the flower has made on the surface of the chair. I really like how the flower stands out in this photo, it really shows how vibrant the flower really is.

Capturing me within the photograph.

I really like this image of my hand holding the nicely green present. The rule of thirds has been clearly presented within this image. If we were to rule this image up as a rule of thirds then we would see that the blue ribbon that is on the box would be the perfect example of the marked O that divides the photo graph. The ribbon would also become the center of interest. Where most viewers eyes would mainly go to when they look at this photograph.

Introducing Myself.

I really LOVE this photo because the way the photograph introduces myself. I also like the way the box is focused and the background which is me, is blurred out of the image. I also LOVE how the black and white contrast of the background from dark to light on either side of me.

Introducing me into the photograph.

I really like this photo that I have taken of my hand and my family photo. I thought that this photo was not going to be useful and that I wasn't going to use this photo. When I photoshopped this image I found that there was really great shadow and also negative space within the photo. I also like the dark and light contrast within this image. going from a dark contrast on the left of the image to a lighter contrast of the photo to the right.

Babyshower and photo.

In this image I have taken and edited I have a box which I had got when I was at my brothers partners baby shower. It represents how my nephew is now born and I am a proud aunty. This also links in with the family photo and symbolizing the love for my family.

Family Photo.

In this photograph I have made my family the only colored figures within the image. This image can also symbolize how much I love my family and can also represent one of the important object (been the photo) to me.

First photograph.

In this photograph I have made the Rose the only coloured object within the image. In this photograph that I have taken, you can clearly see what is in focus and what is not in focus. I also wanted to emphasis that the Rose was one of the important object to me. The centre of attention would be the flower it is the main focus that I think is in this photo. My eyes maybe even the viewers eyes are drawn to the flower because it is the only object in the picture that is colored. But then again when I asked some other viewers their eyes were drawn towards the darker shade towards the photograph in the background.
